Cork Butter Museum

The Butter Museum is a unique institution, celebrating one of the great success stories of Ireland, the butter trade. Located in the historic Shandon area of Cork city, The Cork Butter Museum describes the culture of dairying in ancient Ireland and the growth of the Cork Butter Exchange, at one time the biggest in the world, when tens of millions of pounds worth of butter was traded annually.

REVIEWS

"Very nice museum. There was a butter making demonstration and it was very interesting. The man in the museum was very helpful and involved as many as possible in making the butter."
